Innovative research work and subsequent breakthroughs are primarily the result of the hard work of highly qualified staff, and our state-of-the-art facilities play a major role in this. We have a granulator-speed mixer, a fluidised bed dryer and a perforated drum coating machine, amongst others. Our cutting-edge research infrastructure enables our specialists to create innovative prototypes that support the health of your customers, and facilitates world-class research and development. It is therefore no surprise that our Research and Development Department establishes partnerships with industrial and scientific centres from all over the world.
In recent years, KOMARKO has greatly intensified its development by increasing the number of highly qualified specialists, including those with doctorates. KOMARKO also has foreign partners working or cooperating closely with us on research and development projects. The company is constantly improving the international dimension of its staff training as well as expanding its network of international relationships. KOMARKO's employees are constantly improving their professional competences, both in connection with scientific advancements and through continuous methodological support in embedding quality into our products - Quality by Design - QbD. As a result, we always design our R&D studies to meet the most stringent registration requirements, as the elimination of methodological errors has a very tangible cost-saving effect.
At the Research and Development Department, we are dedicated to supporting human health through our research. We are particularly interested in discovering new raw materials of natural origin, drawing inspiration from the Polish Pine Tree. The extract from this tree contains polyphenolic compounds, which are recognised for their ability to support the body in combating inflammation. Numerous publications support the protective effects of polyphenols (e.g. anthocyanins, catechins, epicatechins or tannins) on cells.
