The quality of our products is of the utmost importance to us. Quality by Design - QbD.

Products under development

At KOMARKO, innovation is at the core of our business strategy, driving our ability to fulfil our mission.

We leverage the extensive scientific and technical expertise of our team members to establish collaborative research partnerships with other entrepreneurs and academic institutions. Our research and development projects are concluded with implementation, ensuring that our customers have access to the most advanced scientific knowledge for their health needs. We are currently working on a unique formulation of mini/micro tablets or pellets that will be dosed in capsules.

Implementation projects completed

At the KOMARKO Research and Development Department, our mission is to carry out pioneering research in support of human health.

Our primary focus is the identification of novel raw materials of natural origin.

The inspiration for our research into natural solutions stems from the unique properties of the Polish Pine Tree. The extract from this tree contains polyphenolic compounds, which are recognised for their ability to support the body in combating inflammation. Extensive research has demonstrated the protective effects of polyphenols (e.g. anthocyanins, catechins and tannins) on cell health. For further insights, please refer to our scientific article on page 73 of the accompanying copy of Herbalism magazine, which is available for download below. Pine extracts are a highly regarded raw material for the development of new products.

Development Directions

Our strategy to achieve our goals is to develop and launch new, innovative products that will support human health. We are one of the leaders in launching mini/micro tablets, pellets or granules with grain sizes ranging from 500um to 1.5mm. In the next development phases, we plan to modify the release of the active substance from the above-mentioned product forms. We will carry out these modifications using cutting-edge equipment, including a high-speed mixer, a fluidised bed dryer and a coating machine. Our development is ongoing and we have more innovations planned.

Partnerships

The innovative research work and subsequent breakthroughs are primarily the outcome of the hard work of highly qualified staff, with research facilities playing a significant role. These facilities include state-of-the-art equipment used primarily for testing extended-release forms, and our infrastructure allows us to conduct research at the highest international level. Consequently, it is unsurprising that our Research and Development Department, equipped with such advanced instrumentation, has established collaborative relationships with industrial and scientific centres worldwide. We are delighted to announce our recent partnership with the first private Faculty of Pharmacy established at the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw.

Life cycle of products

1
RESEARCH PHASE

The aim of this phase is to develop assumptions for the product formulation concept based on existing scientific research and to plan further experiments to develop the concept, with a particular focus on the selection of excipients.

6
UPGRADE PHASE

We design our prototypes to meet all technological requirements, thereby reducing the risk of production errors and ensuring cost-effectiveness. In addition, our documentation can be easily upgraded to other manufacturing methods in line with the latest developments.

2
CONCEPTUAL PHASE

Instead of developing a new product yourself, it is often more efficient to acquire ready-made documentation for a product prototype with the relevant authorisations and expert opinions.

5
DEVELOPMENT PHASE

Well-prepared documentation enables you to react quickly to changing customer preferences. By commissioning us to prepare a prototype, you can quickly adapt your production technology to meet ever changing market needs.

3
PROTOTYPE PHASE

Licensing refers to the purchase of rights to the product documentation, together with the delivery of a prototype ready for testing. This enables marketing research to be carried out on a representative sample of customers, and this provides the opportunity for final product formulation.

4
IMPLEMENTATION PHASE

For those interested in finalising the implementation of their idea, it is imperative to identify reliable partners with whom to produce a product based on a prototype, quarantine it and store it. We can assist you in this regard.
